Namyalo Viola
Chairperson
Viola Namyalo is a proud Humanist and a Humanist leader. She is a graduate with a degree in Performing Arts from Makerere University. She started serving the Humanists Community as a peer educator at HALEA in 2013. She was elected Membership Director for HALEA in 2015. She has done multiple charity works with refugees and has conducted multiple Menstrual Hygiene projects being the SRHR Director at HALEA. In 2019, she was elected Chairperson - Young Humanists International African Working group of Humanists International where she served Africa as a leader for three years. In April 2022, Viola was unanimously elected Chairperson of HALEA. She remains dedicated to champion Human Rights especially amongst marginalised communities.

Peter Claver Birimuye is a 37 year old Male Ugandan. He holds a First Class Degree in Social and Political Philosophy from Makerere University and he is the current Principal, Pearl Schools located in Lwengo District. His interest and desire is to empower the vulnerable people to live independent lives as well as fighting for the less privileged. As the Membership Director, HALEA - UGANDA his aspirations will be to continue spreading humanism values locally and internationally. He is ready to work and serve Humanity. Looking forward to further cooperation in all through this esteemed organization.

Prof. Oloo David
Communication & Publicity Director
Oloo David holds Master of Laws, (LL.M); LL.B and BA Law degrees. He is a senior lecturer at Uganda Pentecostal University, and was the Head of the Faculty of Law, Cavendish University Uganda and a visiting lecturer at Cavendish University Zambia, Stanford University, Hudur, Somalia and Star International University, Juba, South Sudan. He worked as a lecturer/Administrator in Charge and founder of School of Law and Criminal Justice, Nkumba University. He has written and edited books on International and Regional Human rights, Environment and natural resources protection; revised and updated reports on Human rights in Solomon Islands, Public health Environment and insurance law He served as a legal assistant at Rajni Somaia and Company Advocates in Kenya. He is a founding member of Mpigi Humanists Association and ShelterMi SafeHouse Uganda. David is results oriented, resilient, an advocate and protector of Human rights. His present principal interests are promotion and protection of Humanist values and principles, Human rights, environment and natural resources management, and women and youth empowerment through the media.

ISINGOMA RONALD holds a Degree in Automotive Engineering from Nairobi Institute of Business Studies, plus a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. He started working with HALEA as a Research and Machine Maintenance Director, worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Windle International Uganda and HIJRA under UNHCR. He now has a new role with HALEA as a Programs Director. When not doing HALEA work, he works as a Senior Mechanical Engineer with WAAKO MOTORS Limited. On top of that, he is a Businessman who deals in Farming and a Used Car Seller/Buyer.
